Ao Nang Village Bungalows: Pictures, Reviews and Rates

Guests of Ao Nang Village enjoy that rare thing: a patch of green in the centre of Ao Nang. The owners have chosen not to cram as many rooms into the space as possible, instead creating a lovely garden in the middle, set back from the road, meaning you get some privacy, as well as a good view from your balcony.

Accommodation is laid out around this central garden, with low-rise (one storey) buildings on two sides, containing the more recently-built rooms, and a row of older bungalows on the other. In front, facing the main road, is the small restaurant and tour office. The guesthouse is located around 350m from the beach, with all shops and amenities within easy walking distance.

All rooms are decorated in fairly average Thai style (tiled floors, shiny bedcovers and curtains) and are spotlessly clean. Some, as mentioned above, are bungalow-style - individual units, big verandah, but slightly shabbier - others are hotel rooms, which are newer and lighter with large French windows. If you have a preference for a building room or a bungalow, please specify this on the enquiry form - this request will be passed on to the resort, but unfortunately cannot be guaranteed, especially during peak season. Every room comes in double or twin and has an outdoor seating area, TV, fridge, hot water shower and air-con. There is no swimming pool.

The guesthouse is family-run, by original Ao Nang villagers, so you can expect good information and local knowledge to help you make the most of your stay.
