IF you asked about booking a room in November at any of these Krabi resorts you would have been told they were full, or that your requested rooms were unavailable. In reality, they were not - the resorts had simply allotted some of their rooms to large travel agents who promised to fill them.

Come 1 December and the travel agents are obliged to release those rooms they cannot sell back onto the market: and we have direct access to those rooms. All rooms available are at more upmarket resorts like Peace Laguna and Somkiet Buri in Ao Nang, as these are the ones that deal with agents in the first place. When budget accommodation is full (as it is now), this has come from direct bookings, so we do not expect any of these hotels to have any vacancies.
