Many hotels cut their room prices
May - October is traditionally the time when hotels lower their rates, but this year many are going even lower than normal, or offering "stay 3 pay 2" packages. Check out Railay Bay Resort, Peace Laguna Resort, Tipa Resort and Andaman Sunset Resort for some real bargains.
Mainland Krabi is very limited in its choice of family accommodation (Ko Lanta does much better in this respect). Here we list a few family and children-friendly hotels, in the sense that they offer accommodation designed for families of 4 and over to stay together in one room or connecting rooms, sometimes with access to a kitchen. We also list a few self-catering apartments and villas, that have hotel-style facilities.
Please note that most of our other recommended hotels do offer triple rooms, extra beds, or baby cots in their standard rooms - and these are normally adequate for families with very young children, who can share a large single bed, or teenagers who are able to sleep separately in their own room. Look at the individual hotel pages for further information about what each resort offers.

The average Thailand guidebook has only a couple of pages dedicated to Krabi. We've created a whole book about the province, its attractions and where to stay. You'll find everything you need to plan your holiday and comprehensive maps and information for when you are here. Order your copy now!
