From the owners of Peace Laguna Resort, comes Krabi Aquamarine, a brand new (late 2009) hotel located on the rapidly developing area along the road to the Thai boxing stadium behind Nopparat Thara Beach. It is a 250m walk to the sea, and tuk-tuks that will take you into Ao Nang of an evening (3 minute drive); the immediate area is rather quiet, although there are now a few bars and restaurants on the beach front of Nopparat Thara itself.
The resort itself is well laid-out and offers some of the only true family accommodation near to the beach area. With its large pool and 1 - 2 bedroom apartment units (all in low rise blocks or bungalows), you have the luxury of space instead of being cramped in hotel rooms designed for 2 adults only. Service is of the high standard set in Peace Laguna and we would highly recommend this place.

Reservation Policy
Prices are per room / unit per night, based on 1 - 2 people sharing (deluxe room), 1 - 3 people sharing (one bedroom family unit) or 1 - 4 people sharing (two bedroom family unit), and include breakfast, VAT and service charge.
Family policy: children 3 - 12 years sharing existing bedding with adults (no extra bed) will be charged 220 THB per child per night for breakfast. Children aged 3 - 12 years requiring an extra bed will be charged at 550 THB per night, including breakfast. There will be no charge for children under the age of 3 and a baby cot / breakfast can be provided free of charge if required. A third adult, or child aged 12 and over staying in any room will be charged an extra bed supplement of 750 THB per night, including breakfast.
Compulsory Gala Dinner A charge of 2500 THB per adult and 1250 THB per child aged 3 - 12 years will be levied on all guests in house on 31 December (no opt-out).
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations are subject to an administrative fee of 5% of monies paid + 350 baht to cover bank charges. In addition the hotel will charge its own penalties, as follows:
- Cancellation or early check out notified to resort more than 7 days before arrival: no charge
- Cancellation or early check out notified less than 7 days before arrival: one night's stay.
- No show: no refund will be given.
Please note than following cancellation, any refund due under the hotel policy above will be subject to a processing charge of 5% of refund value + 350 THB to cover bank costs.
Amendments to any booking (e.g. change of dates, extension of stay) that do not require a refund may be made free of charge.
