Me Mee Bungalows: Pictures, Reviews and Rates

Belonging to the brother of Ao Nang Village's proprietor, Me Mee (a.k.a. MiMi, Mee Mee or even Meme) Bungalows is located right next door to that establishment and is a small, clean, family-run place in much the same vein.

The room layout is a little more cramped than Ao Nang Village - there is not so much open green space here - but the rooms themselves are almost identical inside: tiled throughout, very clean and decorated in the style of an average Thai home, with shiny bedspreads, frills and pastel shades - in short, not very stylish!

They are, however, decent value in the increasingly expensive centre of Ao Nang, given the facilities on offer (fridge, TV, hot water shower, optional air con). Mee Mee's rooms are located on two floors (one ground and one upper storey), either in single 'house' units or in a terraced block of four. They all have an outdoor balcony with seating, which, on the upper floor gives you a nice view of the Ao Nang cliffs.

Rooms come with fan and air con, which is simply switched on when paid for. The room categories listed below reflect this price difference only - in all other respects, an air con room is identical to a fan room.

The main road entrance to Me Mee houses a small restaurant and tour office - the rooms themselves are located away from the road in the back. The guesthouse is located around 300m from the beach, with all shops and amenities within easy walking distance.

Me Mee is family-run, by original Ao Nang villagers, so you can expect good information and local knowledge to help you make the most of your stay.
