Mountain View is a beautiful private villa situated at the bottom of a national park voted as one of the most beautiful places in Thailand, where you can listen to the monkeys along with the tropical birds singing and also see elephants walking past your front gate. As the name suggests you have stunning mountain views. It is only 3 km from the beach and the resort area of Klong Muang with many five star hotels and a new golf course [scheduled to open in 2009] and also only 10 minutes' drive away from the busy resort of Ao Nang.
Mountain View Villa is very spacious (320sqm of living space) and has two bedrooms: one double opening on to the pool and one twin (2 single beds), both with ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. There is a large living room and a spacious dining room with an open plan fully fitted kitchen also opening on to the pool. The living area contains two sofa beds which can sleep an extra 2 adults or 4 small children. There is an additional, third bathroom for the use of extra guests.
A large terrace runs around the whole villa, which is set in a large, peaceful tropical garden with a large swimming pool and waterfall, leading via a bridge to a lotus fish pond with a sala [Thai style pavilion] for outdoor dining and relaxation.
Should you wish to venture outside, the nearest shops (convenience stores) are a pleasant 10 minute walk away, or a short ride on the two complimentary mountain bikes. To go further afield a motorbike or car rental service can be provided, as well as a full tour and excursion service (extra charges will be applied for these). It is also possible to hire additional staff, such as a masseuse, Thai chef, chauffeur etc., please contact the owners when you are there to arrange this.
The house is managed by the owners directly (a Thai - English couple). At Mountain View you can be fully pampered or left in total privacy, up to you - it's your holiday!

Reservation Policy
Prices for the villa are determined by the owner on a case by case basis, so are not published above. Please contact us, using the form below, to request a quotation. The price quoted will be for the use of the villa and its amenities and cover all utility expenses; daily drinking water and coffee; and gardening and cleaning service (including pool care). Maximum number of guests permitted to stay in the villa is 6 adults. Minimum stay of 3 nights required.
Cancellation Policy
Fees apply to all cancelled bookings, according to the notice period given:
Up to 4 weeks before check in (6 weeks for bookings during Dec 15 - Jan 15): 20% of total booking value.
Less than 4 weeks before check in (6 weeks for bookings during Dec 15 - Jan 15): no refund will be given.
Please note than following cancellation, any refund due under the hotel policy above will be subject to a processing charge of 5% of refund value + 350 THB to cover bank costs.
Amendments to any booking (e.g. change of dates, extension of stay) that do not require a refund may be made free of charge.
