Nathai Estates is a quiet and exclusive development of 5 houses, each with private owners. Two of the properties are available for holiday rental for families and groups of friends who wish to take advantage of the space and privacy of a self-catering house, without foregoing the in-room facilities and standards of a luxury hotel.

Both of the houses are spacious and light-filled and decorated tastefully with contemporary Thai furniture. They offer more than the average holiday rental property with full-sized kitchens, separate dining and living areas as well as their own private pools and gardens, with plenty of outdoor space for relaxing.

Air-conditioning is offered throughout each home, and other amenities include a TV and DVD player, house mobile phone (once 200 baht credit is finished, guests must purchase their own top-up cards to make calls); fully equipped kitchen with basic "welcome" groceries - tea and coffee, sugar etc.

The house owners have also prepared a welcome book with their own personal suggestions for activities, tours and local taxi services, complete with maps and contact information, for the convenience of guests. As the houses are located around 5km from the beach and the main shopping and restaurant zone, some form of private transport (tuk-tuk or rental car) will be essential to get around.

Nathai Estates is accessed by a private road and there is a 24-hour security guard on duty at the entrance. A housekeeper will clean on a daily basis and linen will be changed twice a week. Laundry service is also available on request.

Rooms: Chang House is the larger of the two, and includes a separate guest bungalow which will be made available for groups of more than six people. The main house is laid out in a U-shape around the private swimming pool. There are 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom; an open plan living / dining area; kitchen; two other indoor lounge areas; and a large wooden terrace and covered, furnished gazebo, both overlooking the pool.

Two bedrooms are double, with king-size beds (the master bedroom also has a large dressing area); the other bedroom is a twin, with 2 single beds. All three bedrooms have private outdoor balconies. Bathrooms are finished in granite and marble, with shower over bathtubs and western toilets. There is a also a small WC accessible from the communal areas.

Floors are tiled or parquet throughout and the whole house is tastefully furnished. There is ample storage space both in the bedrooms and in the living and kitchen area.

The guest bungalow of Chang House is a free-standing, self-contained unit located 10m from the main house. It is decorated in the same style as the main house and has a spacious lounge with TV and DVD player; a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a small kitchenette and dining area. The lounge and bedroom are both air-conditioned.

Both the house and the guest bungalow are surrounded by greenery and tropical plants and there is private parking space for 2 cars.

Gecko House sits next to Chang House and is L-shaped, again around the pool. The swimming pool in this house is smaller, but has a whirlpool bench, as well as a swim current generator, so that guests may still exercise in the smaller space.

The house is east-facing and comprises 2 bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom; a large open plan living and dining area with full-length French windows overlooking the pool; and a kitchen with serving hatch onto the dining area. All rooms, with the exception of the kitchen and bathrooms, are air-conditioned, and there is a (wired) ADSL internet connection and cable TV available.

The pool is surrounded by wooden decking and sun loungers, chairs and a table are provided for al fresco dining. Basic barbecue equipment and a rice cooker are also provided.

One of the bedrooms is a twin (2 single beds) and has a private balcony. The en-suite bathroom of this room offers a walk-in shower; the master bedroom is a double, with king-size bed and picture windows opening out onto the pool. There is a small dressing area leading into the bathroom, which has a bathtub and separate walk-in rain shower.

The covered driveway has room for one car; there is also plenty of greenery surrounding the house.

Facilities: All accommodation has air-con, hot water, TV, a DVD player, fully-equipped kitchen, including fridge, microwave oven, kettle, coffee machine, stove and oven, toaster, cooking utensils and all tableware, a mobile telephone with free calls up to the value of 200 baht, and 24-hour security staff. Each house has its own swimming pool for the exclusive use of the property. Pool / beach towels are provided.

Cable television channels (English / French / German etc.), and an ADSL internet connection are available in Gecko House only.

This accommodation is provided on a self-catering basis. Cleaning and laundry service (6 days a week) is included in the price. Guests will have to arrange their own transport and excursions - contacts and suggestions from the owners are provided in the House book.
