Offering decent budget bungalows, Noppharat Resort was opened in December 2006, part of the growing area along the road to the Thai boxing stadium behind Nopparat Thara Beach. It is a 250m walk to the sea, and tuk-tuks that will take you into Ao Nang of an evening (3 minute drive); the immediate area is rather quiet, although there are now a few bars and restaurants on the beach front of Nopparat Thara itself. A small swimming pool has recently been added, which makes hanging out here more attractive.
The 23 rooms are clean and tidy and the resort has a small garden; otherwise there is nothing much remarkable - good or bad - about the place. Connecting doors between air con rooms does make this one of the most affordable family bungalows available - most connecting rooms are in hotel blocks only.

All air conditioned room categories can be connecting (interior door between 2 bungalows), so can sleep a maximum of 6 guests (with extra beds) in a double unit. Breakfast is provided in the resort restaurant, which also serves lunch, dinner and snacks. Airport transfers from Krabi and Phuket also available.

Reservation Policy
Prices are per room per night, based on 2 people sharing, and include breakfast, VAT and service charge.
Family policy: no charge for 1 child under 12 years sharing existing bedding with adults (no extra bed). For children aged 5 - 11 years, there will be a compulsory breakfast charge of 150 THB per child applicable. No charge for breakfast for children under the age of 5. A third adult, or child aged 12 and over staying in any room will be charged an extra bed supplement. Baby cots are available, free of charge, subject to availability.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations are subject to an administrative fee of 5% of monies paid + 350 baht to cover bank charges. In addition the hotel will charge its own penalties, as follows:
- Cancellation or early check out notified to resort more than 15 days before arrival: no charge
- Cancellation or early check out notified less than 15 days before arrival: one night's stay.
- No show: no refund will be given.
Please note than following cancellation, any refund due under the hotel policy above will be subject to a processing charge of 5% of refund value + 350 THB to cover bank costs.
Amendments to any booking (e.g. change of dates, extension of stay) that do not require a refund may be made free of charge.
