Railay Village Resort & Spa: The completion of this ambitious renovation of an ageing resort draws to a close all of the past year's construction activity on this beach. This means West Railay in general (be it Sand Sea, Railay Bay or Railay Village Resorts) is now looking very appealing for this season - if you can get a room.
Railay Village Resort & Spa is under the same ownership as Somkiet Buri Resort in Ao Nang, and this upmarket revamp has taken the trademark Somkiet style (lush garden, natural materials) to a new level.
Railey Village is now competing with Railay Bay for the 4-star crowd, with one great advantage: its size. This smaller, 50 room resort has a more intimate atmosphere than Railay Bay (though the rooms themselves are smaller) and it feels less package-touristy. The rooms are beautifully decorated in contemporary Thai style with polished wood - the vaulted ceilings of the Spa Villas in particular are very nice - and two swimming pools means neither will feel crowded.
We would recommend Railay Village for a honeymoon, or getaway break for couples - it's definitely a resort for grown-ups.

Location: Only 10 mins from Ao Nang Beach and only 45 mins from Krabi International Airport, West Railay Beach is a narrow beach with surrounding by limestone cliffs accessible only by boat, golden sands, crystal clear water, sheer cliffs and tropical jungle covered hills. Our individual villas are set amid coconut groves and exotic gardens.
Features : 25 Spa Villas (50 sqm / bedroom & a small pavilion 5 sqm, outdoor Jacuzzi), six 2-storey units of the low – rise pool villas (24 guestrooms). Each pool villa has 4 guest rooms and each floor has 2 connecting rooms. Each room has a bedroom of 44 sqm and the balcony 8 sqm.

Reservation Policy
Prices are per room per night, based on 2 people sharing, and include breakfast, VAT and service charge.
Family policy: A third person 12 years of age and over can stay in each room, paying an extra bed supplement. Children aged 4 - 11 years sharing a room with parents are not obliged to take an extra bed but must pay a supplement for breakfast at 250 THB each per night. Children under 4 years of age may stay free of charge in their parents' room.
Compulsory Gala Dinner charges will be levied on all guests in house on New Year's Eve at 3000 THB / adult, 1800 THB / child (4 - 11 years).
Cancellation Policy
Railay Village Resort will charge the following cancellation penalties:
- Cancellation or early check out notified to resort more than 15 days before arrival: no charge.
- Cancellation or early check out notified less than 15 days before arrival (30 days in peak season): one night's stay per room booked.
- No shows and early departures will be charged 100% cancellation fee for the full stay.
Please note than following cancellation, any refund due under the hotel policy above will be subject to a processing charge of 5% of refund value + 350 THB to cover bank costs.
Amendments to any booking (e.g. change of dates, extension of stay) that do not require a refund may be made free of charge.
