Beachfront and seaview resorts in Krabi

We are always asked about rooms with a view and actually, surprisingly few hotels and resorts in mainland Krabi offer rooms with ocean views, and those that do usually only have a partial glimpse, rather than an inspiring panorama. Nonetheless, we have listed all of them below.

These Krabi sea view hotels have been further classified according to whether they offer direct beach access, i.e. if the resort is located directly on the sand, with no road to cross inbetween. The very few resorts on the mainland that offer this quieter type of location are marked with this wave symbol ≈.

If direct beach access is important to you, you will also find a good choice of hotels and resorts right next to the sand in both Koh Lanta and the Phi Phi Islands, as well as on Koh Jum and Ko Ngai.

Beachfront hotels in Ao Nang
These hotels are located along the main beachfront road, which means you can see the sea as soon as you step outside. The majority of the rooms inside, however, are non sea view; though some hotels do have a premium category of seaview rooms. Note that these are usually partial sea views as there are tall palm trees, and various electric cables that block the horizon.

Hotels and resorts with seaview rooms on the Railay peninsula
Although most hotels in Railay and Ton Sai beaches are located on the sand, only a handful have rooms with sea views – it is usually the restaurant and pool that have the direct views of the beach. In Railay West, all 4 beachfront resorts have a few rooms with seaview:
