There is a small, but growing number of self-catering and serviced houses, villas and apartments in Krabi available for rent on a nightly basis, particularly in the Ao Nang area. They make ideal accommodation for families and groups of friends travelling together. The majority of them are high quality properties with in-room facilities equivalent to a four or five star hotel, so they offer a great deal of benefits other than space and kitchen and dining facilities.
